The Gentle Barn is an inspirational animal sanctuary in Santa Clarita, California. Ellie Laks started the nonprofit organization in 1999 when she began rescuing animals from children's petting zoos.
Now, The Gentle Barn is a safe haven for all types of animals: cows, horses, chickens, pigs, to name a few.
