"Desperate Housewives" & The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation Team Up

Zoe Hewitt took the Red Carpet Rundown crew up to cover the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation's 2nd Annual Block Party on Wisteria Lane, home of the Desperate Housewives.  The wives, such as Teri Hatcher, Felicity Huffman and Vanessa Williams, all made an appearance along with some of their male counterparts: James Denton and Kevin Rahm.

The fantastic Band from TV, put together by "Hero" Greg Grunberg, played well into the night.

Other celebrities on the carpet included Andrea Bowen and Ariel Winter, one of the stars of Modern Family.

Plus, learn about a brand new drug that's curing 4% of the population with Cystic Fibrosis.

2012 Academy Awards Party

Zoe Hewitt covered the Night of 100 Stars Oscar viewing party for the third season premiere of Red Carpet Rundown.  Rather than posting a fully edited segment, we've decided to post the full interviews with some of the celebrities from the event.  Everyone was in a great mood and there was a lot of laughter on the carpet.  Pay close attention to the interview with funny-man Ken Davitian (The Artist, Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Glorious Benefit of Kazakhstan) who invited our cameras to join him at his restaurant.  We'll be there...but will he?

43rd NAACP Image Awards Luncheon

Host Zoe Hewitt took the Red Carpet Rundown cameras to the Beverly Hills Hotel to cover the 43rd Annual NAACP Image Awards Luncheon. Founded in 1909, the organization is the largest and oldest civil rights organization in the country. Each year it seeks to honor those who may not otherwise be recognized by mainstream media in the categories of acting, writing/directing, literature and music.

Multiple Sclerosis 2011 Dinner of Champions

Zoe Hewitt took the Red Carpet Rundown cameras to the 37th Annual MS Dinner of Champions. The event raises money for MS research and programs.

Zoe chatted with actors, producers and singers who all turned out to support the great cause.

Charles Aidikoff Screening Room Re-Opening

Red Carpet Rundown's cameras were on hand to cover the grand re-opening of the Charles Aidikoff Screening Room, a Lightyear Digital Theatre, on Thursday the 13th. Zoe Hewitt spoke with Charles himself, among other guests, to get the scoop on the theatre, 3D and being a superhero:


AMA Pre-Party at Madame Tussaud's in Hollywood

Red Carpet Rundown was on hand to cover the latest red carpet on Hollywood Boulevards. Held at the famed Madame Tussaud's museum, the street was packed with people hoping to catch a glimpse of one of of the vampires from The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn.

The Echo Center

Red Carpet Rundown sent a crew out to Echo Park to cover the 10th Anniversary celebration and fundraiser for The Echo Center, a non-profit organization devoted to nonviolent parenting.

They offer classes, seminars and support for parents and educators.

The Red Carpet Rundown crew had a prime spot on the arrivals line at the Hatchet 2 premiere.

The Vision Awards

Red Carpet Rundown spent a recent Thursday night in Beverly Hills at The Vision Awards hosted by Retinitis Pigmentosa International.

Zoe Hewitt spoke with many of the evening's honorees--including Vancouver Olympic gold medalist for bobsled, Steven Holcomb, and Molly Smith, producer of The Blind Side. Lily Tomlin chatted with us about her good friend (and Laugh-In creator) George Schlatter.

The Red Carpet Rundown crew covered the Power Players Celebrity Cruise which brought together celebrities and philanthropists to raise money for Eva Longoria Parker's charity Rally for Kids with Cancer. Despite the serious subject matter, everyone was out to have a great time on a cruise around the Marina.

A Call To Men

Red Carpet Rundown's Zoe Hewitt covered the first annual A Call To Men fundraiser. The organization's goal is to help shift social norms that define masculinity and to influence change to end violence against women.

The event was a resounding success for the group! Red Carpet Rundown's cameras spoke with "Friend" Matthew Perry as well as Goo Goo Dolls front-man Johnny Rzeznik. Everyone on the carpet agreed, though, that education is the key.



PCRM Gala: The Art of Compassion

Zoe Hewitt spent a cold Saturday night in West Hollywood to bring back the scoop from the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine (PCRM) Gala: The Art of Compassion.

Despite the weather, it felt warm on the red carpet from the passion everyone exuded about the cause. Whether they were talking about veganism, animal rights or human rights, everyone agreed that compassion was the act of putting others first.

Marilu Henner was on hand to accept the 2010 Voice of Compassion Award that she shared with Ellen DeGeneres, Portia De Rossi and Alicia Silverstone.
